Powder day

Fresh pow covers the landscape. Well, really one inch of snow and rainy… but decided to chase it anyway. Turns were pretty good at Mt. Snow (best yet this season?). Came back home to our ski house basement and got a fire going.

There is something special about sitting around a fire in a cold ski town, reading / working. I missed the hissing and popping of an indoor fireplace. Despite the brief rain, it finally feels like winter has arrived!
