Rock skiing

Today we skied Wildcat <insert cat growl noise> in New Hampshire. (Live free or die!) The only thing worse than the visibility was the coverage. Great time/place to ski if you’re trying to destroy your gear. We stuck to the (two) runs with better coverage, got our 10k, and headed out. It was a fun time but it was a far cry from Stowe.

Free your heel, free your mind

Scored some tele gear for Stacey — boots from FB Marketplace and skis (and skins) from a second-hand gear shop. The boots are in great shape and the skis have a crunchy flower-power theme to them (just need to get her munching on granola and listening to Phish and she’ll fit right into the telemark community).

We’re both stoked to have a full setup ready to go. We’ll give them a go in a couple days, once we’re on a smaller mountain.
